FRP Unlocking – Open‑Source Android Recovery Tools

Free, open-source Android recovery tools – built for repair shops, power users and security researchers.

FRP Unlocking has developed reliable, verified tools for unlocking bootloaders (RealMe, OnePlus), creating custom kernels for Qualcomm chipsets (SM6375, SM8450), extracting ADB keys, and bypassing FRP locks via documented procedures/training programs that are freely available on GitHub and do not require any subscription or “dodgy” service. Over 1,000 users have successfully recovered their devices with help from FRP Unlocking!

About FRP Unlocking

The Free and Open Source Project (FRP) is a non-profit, community-based project to help people recover their Android devices, unlock bootloaders, and create tools for Windows and Linux systems to access the kernel level. Our goal is to assist in safely recovering your device, helping it live longer, and reducing e-waste, rather than selling shady unlocking services.

Linux kernels for Qualcomm-based phones (SM6375, SM8450, etc.), created from scratch to be used to recover/debug from an Android phone and perform security-related research on them. FRP Unlocking is an open-source project by Paweł Potacki (potacki.com) dedicated to recovering Android devices, unlocking bootloaders, and developing tools that work with the kernel. The intent of this project is to safely recover devices, prolong their useful life, and minimize electronic waste – not to offer questionable services to unlock your device.

Open Source First

Products are produced as open-source available on GitHub with an accompanying documentation and an issue tracker for user experience feedback.

Systems and Kernel Orientation

We will produce a product for physical access: bootloaders with Qualcomm-based Kernels and low-level workflows with Recovery and Security Research.

Repair Methodology

Work with the client to set short-term and long-term financial goals.
